THE COMPANY:
A dynamic and design-focused procurement company, dedicated to sustainability, is seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Operations to lead and enhance their project delivery and operational processes. The company specialises in sustainable furniture and lighting for high-profile projects across hotels, offices, residential spaces, and restaurants, striving to balance exceptional design with environmental responsibility.
The Role:
The Head of Operations will oversee the project management team, drive operational improvements, and contribute to strategic decisions as part of the leadership team. They will manage complex, large-scale projects and ensure seamless delivery while fostering team development and upholding the company’s values.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic input on business growth, resource allocation, and efficiency improvements.
Lead and develop the project management team, setting KPIs and monitoring performance.
Oversee the delivery of high-value projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
Act as the primary escalation point for project challenges, finding innovative solutions.
Maintain and improve compliance standards, including ISO 9001 accreditation.
Represent the company in client pitches, offering expert insights on project delivery strategies.
Key Skills:
10+ years in senior operations, project management, or procurement roles, with a track record of managing large, multi-phase projects.
Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to inspire and drive continuous improvement.
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands-on involvement.
Experienced in implementing process improvements and managing compliance standards.
Skilled communicator, capable of managing stakeholder relationships and navigating complex operational challenges.

Location: Office-based in Clerkenwell, London, WFH option 1-2 days per week
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
