People & Inclusion Advisor

The Role:

A dynamic architecture and design practice, known for its collaborative and people-focused approach, is seeking a People & Inclusion Advisor to join its team. The practice has a strong presence across the UK and operates internationally, with over 200 employees across multiple studios.

Reporting to the Head of People & Inclusion, the People & Inclusion Advisor will provide comprehensive HR support, ensuring effective employee engagement while maintaining compliance with best practices and employment law. This is a hands-on role requiring a highly organised individual who can manage both administrative and HR advisory tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support recruitment and selection processes, including managing applications, scheduling interviews, and preparing job offers.

  • Oversee the onboarding and induction process for new employees, ensuring a seamless transition into the company.

  • Administer performance management, appraisal programs, and sickness/absence tracking, ensuring compliance with procedures.

  • Coordinate training and development activities, maintaining records and evaluating staff feedback.

  • Manage employee leavers, conducting exit interviews, and ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

  • Maintain HR databases, track employee data, and generate monthly HR reports.

  • Provide general HR advice and guidance, ensuring best practices are followed and policies are up to date.

Key Skills:
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within the design or creative sector.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

  • Experience with HR systems and a sound understanding of employment law.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • CIPD qualification is preferred but not essential.
