People & Inclusion Advisor

The Role:
A dynamic architecture and design practice, known for its collaborative and people-focused approach, is seeking a People & Inclusion Advisor to join its team. The practice has a strong presence across the UK and operates internationally, with over 200 employees across multiple studios.
Reporting to the Head of People & Inclusion, the People & Inclusion Advisor will provide comprehensive HR support, ensuring effective employee engagement while maintaining compliance with best practices and employment law. This is a hands-on role requiring a highly organised individual who can manage both administrative and HR advisory tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support recruitment and selection processes, including managing applications, scheduling interviews, and preparing job offers.
Oversee the onboarding and induction process for new employees, ensuring a seamless transition into the company.
Administer performance management, appraisal programs, and sickness/absence tracking, ensuring compliance with procedures.
Coordinate training and development activities, maintaining records and evaluating staff feedback.
Manage employee leavers, conducting exit interviews, and ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
Maintain HR databases, track employee data, and generate monthly HR reports.
Provide general HR advice and guidance, ensuring best practices are followed and policies are up to date.
Key Skills:
Proven experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within the design or creative sector.
Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Experience with HR systems and a sound understanding of employment law.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
CIPD qualification is preferred but not essential.
