The Role:
An international engineering firm who prioritises work-life balance and exceptional flexibility for remote work is looking for a Proposal Coordinator to join their friendly team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with experienced team members and take ownership of shaping responses, ensuring clarity and quality in every submission.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with some experience in bid or proposal writing, or strong general writing skills, to get involved in a range of projects and contribute to compelling bid documents. With a focus on employee wellbeing, a 3-4 day per week wfh option and a social office in central London, you’ll have the ideal blend of professional connection and personal balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Bid Writing: Support the preparation of bid documents by transforming complex technical information into clear, persuasive, and engaging content.
Content Refinement: Review and enhance drafts to improve readability, consistency, and alignment with project goals.
Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts and other team members to gather the necessary information for bid responses.
Flexible Support: Adapt to varying project demands and attend the London office or project-related meetings as needed.
Project Involvement: Contribute to a variety of projects, gaining exposure across different sectors, with opportunities to specialise as the team grows.
Key Skills:
Experience: Previous experience in bid writing, proposal coordination, or similar roles is a plus. Strong general writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively are essential.
Proactive and Adaptable: Comfortable taking initiative, refining content, and making adjustments for clarity and impact.
Collaborative Mindset: Able to work well in a flexible, dynamic team environment, contributing positively to team discussions and outcomes.
